TV room layout struggle

We are starting to decorate new house, I'm struggling with the TV room layout with the double entrances. On the left wall is where we're putting tv - if I get a \~8ft sofa I have a weird gap by the windows. But a sectional/corner couch seems like an odd choice with the house front entryway immediately to left of TV room.
2 chairs in front of windows? A bench? A big chair and a half?
Thoughts?

    Congratulations on your new home.

What if you closed off the room’s 2nd doorway near the foyer then place the sofa on that wall with the TV on the outer wall across from it? It also gives you room for a chair or two. You can test the layout temporarily even though the couch will block that 2nd doorway.

Have you looked at how the overall house layout suits your lifestyle? Just because the listing calls this a TV room, it doesn’t need to be.

Does it work better to open it up to the sitting room to create one large room (assuming the walls can be removed)?

Is it a better location for a dining room?

    Etc.

We do actually like the layout as is, the sitting area was actually the TV room in the listing but to left of that is kitchen / dining and we don't want to in there. Closing/opening walls up isn't something we'd want to do, we like how it has defined rooms but still very open and airy to rest of house.

Just need a furniture layout that makes most sense as is!

I agree to place the tv opposite the outer wall. Then the outer wall gets a long very deep for lounging sofa with big ottomans in front for trays and laying out together.

Just me, but were I walking in your front door, I think that first room sets the scene for the rest of the house. You do not mention your style, color loves, etc, but I would use that solid wall for more than a t v.

Then move into the sitting room (now the t v room) and put t v in there. Larger room for more t v viewing. Color coordinate the two spaces.

It's possible to set this space up as a two level theater room.

This layout is traditional. It can show an example to use for the back row only. A single step.for that row with a long deep couch and ottomans in front. This space is not needed for a livingroom conversation arrangement. It can be focused on its primary use. A 2 x 6 frame with 3/4" plywood surface will raise the rear seating area 6.25 inches. this works with a low back long deep lounging couch. The tv height for an 85" should be synched to the back row seated eye level. Check the AVS forum for more technical options.

    One couch 6'5"

    Two small swivel chairs.

One small side table between the chairs that can be used as a game table or for watching TV, for guests, and easily moved around or turned.
