We had a 28” undermount sink installed in a 28” sink cabinet today with our counter install. Instead of using sink straps as we specified, they simply placed the sink on top of the cabinet box since the flanges of the sink extended to the sides of the cabinet box and glued the sink to the counter.

I’m not super pleased as I specifically asked for the sink to be installed with straps multiple times throughout the quoting and installation process and they didn’t do it. What I’m trying to determine is if this installation method is acceptable, even if not ideal, or if I need to have them redo the installation entirely using sink straps to prevent issues down the line.
