warm parquet .....pick the 'honey" or "golden" tone of oak hardwood floor ...extremely easy to match as you have light, medium , or darker to choose from . why so gray??

not sure if these are oak but the lighter honey is what I'd choose ..maybe another species would work also...... bring in samples.

I vote for a complete contrast for no danger of a mismatch or too similar but not quite right. I love radiant-heated stone flooring. My favorite stone is travertine because it is the only one tan can be easily repaired if needed. That's my suggestion to consider but don't worry if you choose something else...your choice.

This is a titanium travertine next to stainless steel. Or you could choose a warmer more common golden travertine.

Are you having the parquet floors refinished as well?

I would would look at tiles either porcelain or LV. Are you up for exploring a patterned floor?

Be careful with a new floor. Check your dishwasher. It looks pretty tight in the space. Make sure the feet can be adjusted for the new thickness of flooring that is going in, otherwise it will get locked under the counter and you can't get it out if it breaks.

There are LVP floors that look like tile - Coretec sells them.
