In Ct we heard the sonic boom, no snow but downed lines and hurricane strength gusts with lows in the forties :(

Whoa! That's crazy ... meanwhile I think we had the perfect day in PA yesterday! A little windy but otherwise a beautiful day!

No I didn't hear it but heard of it. I saw a tree come down in the high winds too.

I was in Boston at a loud event and didn’t hear a thing. DH was home, 6 miles away, and said the house shook and he thought maybe a huge tree had come down. So weird!

Wow! I would be dicking and looking over my shoulder like the Wicked Witch of the West anticipating a falling house!

I heard about it on the news and also heard a report on the radio this morning. interesting phenomenon. They said a much much larger meteor was what wiped out the dinosaurs! Consider yourself lucky. 😂

It was lovely but very windy in the Philadelphia burbs yesterday. Still chilly and my furnave came on!

I kept hearing loud bangs in the afternoon and into the night but I think it was from The Roots Picnic in Fairmount Park. Crazy.

The storm (hurricane?!) was crazy friday night into the wee hours. The waves were so loud and the wind shook the house. Mother Nature can be such a drama queen.

The next morning I found this frightened leaf plastered to a window, begging to come inside.

I appreciated that it centered itself so nicely on the pane, yes?

Did not hear anything in my part of the state..

We had deep overcast and clouds. DH was fixing the printer. I think I was listening to the radio with noise cancelling headphones on (yeah,,, of all times)

A few years ago while sitti g in bed I caught sight of a bright fireball from the bedroom window in front of me. WILD! I thought it was a plane crashing. Nothing on the news. I asked my Renaissance man friend and he told me it was a meteor. I’m so glad I was on the 2nd floor above the tree line.

Note: this is a good reason to never have shades or curtains and to never sleep.

The reports say that the recent one was about 3 ft. in diameter and travelling at about 75,000 mile per hour. If any pieces remain they are in about 100 ft. of water between Plymouth and Cape Code Bay. I bet there are people searching for it. It might have given a lobster a concussion.
