Are there table height chairs that match the counter stools? If yes, that’d be my choice. If not, find something very close.

IMO the barstools are not the best for this kitchen.

The frame should have eithre been white or wood finish to match the cabinets or dark to work with the light fixtures.

Well you are tied into a style now, one that neccesarrily doesnt go with the architecture of the home. None of the dining chairs you chose really works with the style of the barstools you have chosen. Here is where the issues arrise when you worry about things later instead of creating a cohesive plan (lighting, architectural style of the home, furnishings). You're choosing all cool toned woods (barstool legs, dining chairs )when your island and flooring is not cool. Pause and think about how you are going to tie these areas together.

So what would be your suggestion?

The picture of the stools is only for reference. In reality, the kitchen cabinets are a warmer white, and both the stools and wood tones are warmer and darker than what appears in the photo. I am actually very happy with those selections and would like to focus the discussion primarily on the dining table and chairs.

Since this space is connected to the kitchen and serves as a transition to the patio, I am looking for something that feels balanced between formal and casual. It needs to be functional for everyday living, especially with pets, and easy to maintain and clean.

One concern I have is that there are already many warm elements in the space: the walnut flooring, the warm trim, the cabinetry, and the existing wood tones. While I am not planning to change those features, I would like to introduce some cooler tones to create balance and prevent the room from feeling overly warm or monochromatic.

I do have ideas for future updates, including the chandelier and other decorative elements, but I am not in a position to change everything at once. My priority right now is choosing chairs that are comfortable, practical, and fit within a realistic budget. We plan to make improvements gradually over time.

My goal is to create a home space. I want a home that feels comfortable, reflects our personalities, and incorporates a mix of textures and materials that work together naturally. I believe good design is about balance rather than matching every element exactly.

With that in mind, I would love to explore additional options for the dining chairs and overall look of the space. I am interested in seeing alternatives that bring some contrast and character while still feeling cohesive with the existing finishes.

We have a lot wood in the house and the doors are tall and dark brown will add more pictures

I still favor the 2nd chair you show. The first chair doesn’t look comfortable with the open wood frame back & the 3rd one is too visually bulky. I’m a fan of color & texture. The texture I see in your pics is limited to the granite countertop. It’s a strong color - dark tones - & it’s the only texture in the space. I was wondering about the upholstered chairs for table having some kind of subtle design but then decided that’s not the answer. I’m now wondering about a soft but not fussy window treatment for dining area windows & window over the sink. A detail question for you - can you find a different spot for the pet food dishes & spread the counter stools out - I’d want one right where the food dishes are. Just my personal fussiness - although my home is mostly arranged for the convenience & comfort of my little pup! 😊

I like the 2nd option out of the three.

Here is the potential issue that I see - if you don't select a chair that matches your stools, selecting another off white upholstered chair may have a fabric that has more yellow in it = will look like a mismatch for your stools. I would look at upholstered off white chairs that are sold by the seller/manufacturer of your stools. I wouldn't necessarily buy the exact match to your stools - however, you'd be able to check with the seller/manufacturer to see if the same material was used. You still might receive ones that aren't an exact match (due to different color lots on the fabric), but they won't be right next to each other.

Also, if you do a Google image search of one of your stools, you'll be able to see all of the retailers that sell the same ones - typically, furniture items will be sold by many retailers under different names.

If you don't like any of the ones that are from the same seller/manufacturer (or under another name) as your stools, just make sure that you (i) look at the photos/reviews posted for the chairs to make sure that the images haven't been altered (people will post if the neutral off white is more yellow than expected), and (ii) purchase chairs that are able to be returned (or better yet, purchase ones that you are able to see in person + test out to see how comfortable they are).

Question - will you be adding any window treatments? You have a pretty view - do you need any sun protection (it seems like you don't). If not, will you be adding any drapery panels? It would be nice to add some color or pattern (subtle?) into that area. I would definitely change out the flowers on the table to add either a more colorful arrangement - or maybe a succulent/orchid type of arrangement. It needs some color - even if it's mostly greens.

I also would select a different light fixture to try in an AI image - I know that you aren't replacing the fixtures over the table/island right now, but it will give you an idea of what the "finished" space will look like once you do switch it out. I think a different light fixture will have a nice impact on the space (also in your kitchen - the style of light fixture looks really heavy over the island).

You could take the ones you currently have over the island down and simply replace them with some super thin flush mount lights:

They are about $8-10/light - there are many sellers on Amazon. You don't have to change the box that's in your ceiling - these just replace your pendants.

However, if your current lights over the island don't feel super heavy to you, you can simply wait until you're ready to replace them with new pendants (or recessed lights).

Agree with dan1888 that the table is good for your space. Though I like the chairs dan1888 shows, I personally wouldn’t use arm chairs around the table. They’ll take up too much space & might be tough fitting arms under the table top. Those same chairs without arms would be good. If you can find a good match to the counter stool legs - great!

The question is what is your end goal? What does the home look like? What colors run throughout the home? Is it all formal or more casual? What is the style of the items in the home? Traditional? Country? Cottage? Is this a kitchen eat in or a formal dining room? You bar stools say one thing and your table another and your kitchen another. If you have nothing now what colors do you want to use in the home? What we are seeing is void of color except for the brown in the granite. Is the table light wood or white washed? The photo is dark and that is hard to tell. Currently it is just a guessing game. We can recommend dozens of options but will there work? Who knows? Lets come up with a cohesive plan where the chairs we recommend make sense with everything else going on in the home. THAT SAID if I were going off the style of your kitchen only and guessing that you want to keep everything neutral then I would do this

and to tie the kitchen in this

I'd shake it up a bit and get wishbone chairs.

That's a 6 person armchair table. You absolutely have to sit in the chair before buying.

I favor the last one you posted & the 2nd one in the first bunch. Both have nice comfy looking backs for those family game nights. The last one you posted blends well with the counter chairs. It would be great if you could do a sit test first but failing that can you order only 1 & return if doesn’t work?

The white table (Metal element) paired with these walnut-colored folding chairs (Wood element) creates a "Metal chops Wood" clash in Chinese Feng Shui. It drains the room's energy and feels unsettling. To harmonize the vibe, you should replace them with cream, light yellow, or rice-white upholstered chairs. This brings in the Earth element, perfectly complementing your kitchen and restoring a rich, cohesive aura. Haha.
