It's hard to tell colors on a computer from a photograph. Either the computer or the camera will "correct" the color. I suggest that you ask your friends and choose the majority. With all that in mind: From the photographs, I would choose glacier white because it seems to have a little of the pink tone that you might need

Your vanity looks like a really pretty natural wood. Why are you planning to cover it up with vinyl?

Fake bleached wood look vs real wood? Your new counter will give you the lighter uplift you seek. Leave the cabinet as is. Nordic would be my choice for counters.

What's the rest of the bath plan? What will be the floor? Is the layout changing? What about this down here?and would it matter which white? : )

If you are spending money on a corian counter, spend the extra bit for an integrated corian sink. No more lip to collect gunk.

I have never seen any plastic wrap that looks like real wooed and also never looks perfect . Leave the cabinets or paint it and get the new counter and sink. For me the floors are a mush bigger issue so whatever you do needs to include what works with the floors.IMO the color of the cabinet now is better than what you plan.

To answer the question of why I'm changing the cabinets at all, you can't tell from the photo, but they are actually a brown laminate that looks obviously fake in person.I'm doing the vinyl wrapping, because to my understanding, painting laminate doesn't work well. I really don't like the brown tile floor, and it is very hard to match, so eventually, I would like to do a fuller redo of the bathroom, and pull out the brown tile, but I'm not prepared to go to the time and expense of doing that right now. I thought that just changing the vanity and the countertop would be an easy way of brightening up the bathroom for now. Because the vinyl wrapping is relatively inexpensive, I would not feel bad about having to change the color of the vanity again a few years from now whenever I do redo the bathroom. I was a bit worried about the match between the vinyl I chose and the floor, but I thought I would get a rug to cover up the floor as much as possible. The only other thing I might do now is repaint.

Forget wrapping the cabinet. It costs more than just replacing the doors and adding appropriate decorative end panels. It's a con job for those who don't know anything about cabinets. Also, the warm wood tone that you say looks "fake" looks a heck of a lot more real that the ugly whitewashed 1985 looking plastic wrap.

For the flooring - I’d be tempted to paint it (lots of youtube tutorials) and then cover it with a stylish floor mat from Hudson & Vine (the painted tile would just show at the edges)

My advice?

Don't spend money twice, don't put lipstick on a pig, it will remain a piggy

Oh no. Don't spend money on corian to place on a wrapped cabinet. You are throwing away your money. It sounds like you are eager for a change, but I encourage you to save your money instead for the time in which you can do a larger renovation.

Paint, buy some temporarystorage drawers to go in the opening beneath the vanity.

Thank you for all the additional comments and suggestions. It's making me rethink the vinyl wrapping idea. I may look into refacing the cabinets instead if it is not too expensive. I had thought about painting the floors, but my worry would be that the paint would chip too easily. Per Jan Moyer’s suggestion, I've attached some additional photos with fuller views of the bathroom. If anyone has any additional suggestions for easy fixes to improve the bathroom that don't involve removing the tile, they would be most appreciated. Unfortunately, I Think that my options may be limited. I can't even change the faucet since my plumber tells me the faucet holes are too narrow for most of the faucets that are sold today, which is one of the reasons why I was thinking of changing the countertop.

I think there are things you can do to help the bath feel clean and fresh while waiting for a reno - a few ideas

- if you’re game for wallpaper in the vanity room - it would be an easy way to pull together the floor color and the trim (green?) - Spoonflower and Etsy have tons of removeable options

- getting the counters cleared will go a long way for a luxe feel and it’s free :)

- a classic poly jute rug can help cover the floor and be a nice neutral addition to the wallpaper

- i’d change out the vanity light or spray paint it a color that helps it blend with the wallpaper

- fresh white textured shower curtain to help hide the tile you don’t like

As suspected, in person cabinetry is different than pictures show. Still fake on top of fake is not going to end well. That money could be spent at a big box store for a brand new vanity. As we know pictures can be very deceiving but it appears your vanity is of an age when bathroom fixtures were not kitchen counter height. I would save lunch money for a year to get one 'standard' kitchen height.

Paint all the walls and all the trim a soft white to harmonize with counter top and flooring, VARY only the finish. satin on trim, matte on walls.

Get a new rug with the green of vanity, and SAME for the shower curtain

The "Hole" for the faucet needs a guy with a brain and a drill bit to size

Lose the light fixture above the mirror for something new .After that, other than any accessory hardware? Call it S.T.O.P., right after you remove stuff, like a roll of paper towels, and the grooming affects, all on display.

ADD a darn hand towel ring or at the very least ?? Take away the "I gave up"appearance : )

Where/when did that red and white flooring enter the picture? I'd forgo that in a hot minute.

Follow Jan's advice for an inexpensive cosmetic update until you are able to totally renovate the bathroom. And Kendrah's advice about using the space under the vanity counter top for storage.

I really appreciate the generosity of time that you've all shown, and you've saved me a lot of time and money in steering me away from trying to redo the vanity.Will work on decluttering, and then look Into finding a new rug and shower curtain to start.

You can successfully paint laminate. There are plenty of tutorials online explaining the process. It's a matter of giving it a scuff sand, using a high bonding primer like Bin shellac, and then using a paint meant for cabinets like BM Advance.

Any plumber who doesn't know how to make a hole larger to work for a new faucet isn't a plumber I would want to hire.

IMO, the green doesn't quite work with the brown. I'd look for a warm white and paint walls and trim the same color. Use an eggshell for walls and a satin or semi-gloss for the trim. Update your vanity light, get a pretty runner for the floor and a new, complimentary shower curtain and call it good until you're ready for a big change. You can make this bathroom feel a lot better for $500 or so.
