White O’Hara roses

I would start by saying that i have a weakness for white roses. White O’Hara has a special place in my moon garden. Such a gorgeous and classy rose. The fragrance is also gorgeous. I love the thicker petals and the longer vase life. I got if from April and Ashley. Do you grow it in your garden?

I don’t have White O’Hara, but grow Pink O’Hara. They really should make a Scarlet O’Hara. lol!

Yes White O'Hara is one of my favorites too. There's something about the white rose that just sort of glows at dusk so I totally understand giving a spot in your moon garden. That's a perfect home for it, I think. I'm also with you on the thicker petals; they give the blooms a nice fullness. How has yours handled heat and humidity though? Mine just always seems to ball up a bit in damp weather so I'm curious if you found a spot for them

@Juan Morisi it sometimes balls too but it mostly blooms fine. I have some in full sun and some in partial shade. It seems to handle both locations just fine

I agree with you about white roses. I love how they glow in the evening.

White O’Hara is the most fragrant ever white rose and gorgeous bloom shape & creamy color, too! She’s my favorite white rose ever! I had her in bouquet and I recently just bought the White O’Hara rose bush from April & Ashley! She can perfume up your whole dining room in bouquet as see did mine.
