Acrylic paints on fabric?

Has anyone tried acrylic paint markers on fabric that will be washed? I put some on jeans material, but it’s not 100% cotton. I then used an iron to heat set it, but wasn’t sure how hot or long to go. Any experience out there? I already know from experience how acrylic ink will behave on silk. lol!

I have not, but there are fabric mediums that you can add to acrylic paint.

I've tried "fabric paint" on 100% cotton muslin...it works really well.

Thank you, Cathi Thomas! Unfortunately, these acrylic paints come in marker form, so there’s no way for me to add anything to them.

Thanks, Nicole! I did some research and suspect that ”fabric paint” is acrylic paint that’s had fabric medium added to it. :)

I’ll heat set it again and then see if it holds up in the wash.
