Best Daylily from a distance

I order a lot of daylilies that seem really vibrant on the website photo, but in person they do not stand out except from a close-up view.


What makes a daylily stand out from a distance? I am talking about maybe 30-40 feet from the sidewalk to the side of our house. Is it the size, bigger is better? Having two distinct colors? Multiple flowers blooming at the same time?


The big reds with yellow centers, like All American Chief fit the bill, but I am looking for others.
