Ruby Storm is such an attractive and reliable cultivar. As I recall, Red Volunteer does not like too much sun. Bela Lugosi has really looked good here this year--saturated and clean.

Great group of blooms! My favorites are Blood, Sweat and Tears and Sweet Isabela. I love watermarked reds with white edges. Sweet I's highly saturated pink petals with a light watermark is another look in my wheelhouse.

Mantis, my Red Volunteer is under a 50 yo pine, maybe three feet from the trunk. I am amazed every season that it blooms well there. It has been in place for over 20 years.

Nice group of opening blooms! Sunday Gloves is always nice. Blood Sweat and Tears is such a pretty color. Sweet Isabela has a wonderful dark color.

Sunday Gloves always catches my attention for a white. And that first dynamic duo of Blood Sweat And Tears is a real looker.........My Orange Smoothie, even in cooler conditions, maintained more of a yellow color this year. Some years it's more orange, but I like it whatever color is chooses............Maryl
