I’m suffering from analysis paralysis and need some help.

I’m looking for recommendations for engineered wood (there are a mind boggling number of of brands and choices). Specifically looking for light oak, budget is $6-$10 per square foot, 4mm (supposedly can be refinished a couple times). I’m replacing 1100 square feet of mishmash in my home. My contractor is going to do the installation.
