The cat noticed that I was under the weather (or having after effects of general anesthesia) the first day. I really have had minimal pain. After that she just had to get used to me crawling around, hopping on one foot or using the crutches.

You are very welcome. It’s hard to be idle when one is used to being active all day. This will pass soon and you will be back to adding in some additional exercise. Does your recovery plan include PT later?

You're very welcome. The card is perfect. Please rest and elevate per doctor's order. DH tends to overdo, and not follow directions, after a procedure. He always pays for it in some way!

Pal, I bought this for my ankle surgery last year. I had to wear a boot 24/7 for ten weeks, and this was the only way that I could bear to sleep in the boot while also elevating. It also worked better than pillows during the day.

Exactly what I used after my TKR ! worked great . Ice machine and ”ski ramp” were my constant companions for 3 wks.

Surgery to reposition a tendon in my foot.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but did you have peroneal subluxation? I had that about a year ago and was able to calm it down but it has started acting up again. I'm guessing I haven't seen the end of it

The main tendon at the bottom of my R foot had ruptured at some point a few years ago. So.....3 screws to hold up the arch....non weight-bearing for 2+ months. Ugh!

I had to have my extensor hallucis longus taken off my great toe and repositioned away from it because it was pulling it straight up. I have chronic tendon retraction in that leg because of a perinatal head injure. I was 8 the first time I had surgery,(on my Achilles), and we talked about doing that one again along with this.
