Area is approx 11’wide x15’ deep & has vaulted ceiling with highest point 18’. Our ceilings are 11’ in the surrounding areas. Excuse the clutter. Trim replaced, paint tomorrow.

This house has low natural light. I hope to ultimately put two skylights in the vaulted area to address some of that issue. OR convince hubby to get a new much larger window above the double doors.

Our style is modern transitional with high contrast. I’ve included a few pics to help explain that. I got a Sputnik fixture for our dinning table, it can handle the size but the lightbulbs are too bright so we use a dimmer. Kid-ults removed lightbulbs in an attempt to replace them…

I literally have no idea what to replace the fixture with. Right now we cannot reach it to change lightbulbs even with our tallest ladder & 6’7” son on top.
