I like the look you have going! My only thought is you have a lot of smooth, shiny surfaces, think about bringing in some texture, too. A nubby weave curtain, and taller, textured bedside lamps.

I love the look you've started with...What about adding some pops of bold yellow?

Unfortunately, I don't think that the color of panels you chose do much for the room. I think they blend in too much with the wall color! Any chance you can exchange them? If not, you can always sew another fabric to 1/3 of the panels or even add some trim to make them stand out more...good luck!

Pretty- I would raise the mirror just a tad so it doesn't look like it is sitting on the chair rail. I know you said you don't like color but a small pop of a vase or too would look great!

I was just moving out and I just got little confused which color suits my new room best! it's just a little space, actually just a bed space, but still I want to make it as comfy as possible..pls help me pick the best color for everything. thanks!

Anyway, monika, my only suggestion is to move the rug under the bed a little more and paint the chair rail around the bed another color.

As an art dealer I get very frustrated with people making recommendations to buy CHEAP art. If you are willing to invest in quality furniture, rugs and accent pieces which will only ever LOOSE value over time you should always be looking to buy QUALITY art as an investment. My children over their life time have acquired pieces and now have an investment portfolio of art on their walls that is worth 100x what they paid for it and even in the worst of economic markets ART has never gone down in value.

A set of shams or throw pillows made from drapery fabric would help tie all together
