I think it is all perfect. Filling in with flowers as you mentioned is probably all the extra  needed and yes - you've done a it and can stop now.

Salonva, for some reason it stopped showing on the site. I can't imagine anyone flagged it so not sure what was up.

I had also considered this vinglace thermal wine holder ... in fact, this was my first idea as we discussed it for her son's wedding in May and she loved it but said it was more HER than her DIL to-be (who doesnt drink). Our bottle of prosecco doesnt fit in it though.. so maybe a sleeve. Or I get a different bottle of prosecco!

My sister received one a number of years ago and we use it all the time-- since then, I have given them as gifts a number of times. It is close in price to the picnic basket and I wouldnt do both (due to $$)

Which do you like best? The picnic basket or the thermal wine holder?

The basket is both pretty and practical

I like a nibble with my drinks. I’d add something sweet or savory and call it.

When people add things like glasses, I feel obligated to keep them when I don’t have room for any more.

If your friend keeps a journal or takes discussion notes on the books she reads or to record book recommendations, perhaps add a journal and pretty pen to the bag. For example, Target carries notebooks by Rifle Paper Co:

A journal is a nice idea ... but not for this friend. Flutes are also a good idea ... but again, not for this friend. She has way more than she needs!

I have 3 more birthday gifts to figure out in the next 2 weeks so thrilled this one is mostly done. Next one is for a 1-yo so that should be fun. I am told he likes to "poke" things now LOL

This is a great gift. Where is the bag from? Our insulated totes are not cute at all.

The basket is "Picnic Time" you will find them all over -- WS, Nordstrom Rack, Macys, Kohls, Az, Walmart. Cheapest I saw just now is Az but the prices change.

I have purchased a number of this style for gifts too .. two were specially branded (vineyard vines whale and a Harry Potter seal) all the others were white (they also have a denim color, brown and maybe a stripe?). I really like the size and look of it ... but it isnt thermal.

I received the basket this morning-- I am even more pleased than I thought I would be. It is flexible and not heavy but it seems to be very durable. Most importantly for my immediate purpose, it is a great size for a gift bag! It will make for a perfect summer gift!

I got the green but showing here in blue also -- I sort of wish I had gotten the blue for BFF.
