This is my first post to Houzz. I have used a number of your kitchen projects to help confirm what we were trying to accomplish and for all of you that have posted pictures, comments, etc...thank you! Quoting the Beatles...it's been a long and winding road to say the least.

Without question, the most challenging aspect of the plan was the desire to have copper sinks for our main and prep areas. It began in May when visiting a friend in Chicago that had a hammered copper sink. It ended with the arrival of my custom made sinks today.

In between were hours and hours of internet research. Assembly line Chinese or Mexican products that look like bad golf balls. Custom fabricators who must think they are using gold. I know who makes copper sinks in every corner of the country. And until I found Stainless Steel Fabricators in Texas, I never thought one sink let alone two sinks would have been affordable.

If you are in the market for a real life custom copper sink, your search is over. Greg King is the President of the firm. He was amazingly helpful throughout every conversation and email exchanged. His admin, Kathy, is pleasant, helpful, and always listened. I have a new friend!

SSF built for us a 36" single bowl farm sink and an 15x12 prep sink using 48oz copper. And to top it all off, we decided to create a custom copper backsplash that Greg was able to handle for us as well. I only have a couple pictures to share that SSF sent to me. Once we get everything uncrated and installed I plan to create a page here with the whole project.
