When the wind and hard rain tipped my Jack Pine to 45d, I just grabbed whatever I found in the garage. In this case it was a couple of iron pipes and a piece of steel shank off some old farming equipment.

All I had was some flat nylon strapping.

I see now that after a few weeks; the straps have loosened so the tree must've taken hold again but I'm leaving it on until storm season is over.

You might want to cushion that round rope, so it doesn't chaff the bark.

Thanks. I may actually end up tieing it to my privacy fence post which is about 30 feet away but since its concreted in, it may be the most secure thing to tie it to.

Cut a piece of old hose and cushion that rope around the trunk.

If you tie the tree to a 4-6’ fence that is 30’ away, tie colored flags on the rope to alert anyone on a mower of the low rope to avoid an accident.

Its a 6 ft fence but yes it crosses my lawn so good idea. Though I’m only 5’9.5 ft tall and with shoes maybe another inch so I may never hit it.

I got it straightened and tied up. Although the rope is quite low, at my chin level. I just need to be aware of that when mowing.
