Why this counter since IMO it has been done to death . The only way to get cabinet color to work with that is to get a recent sample , take it home and see it in your lighting then get paint samples to work with the counter.. My advice go look at real stone thta has life in it instaed of fake plastic.

I agree, but it is for my daughter. And this is what was affordable for her, especially given that it is for her tiny condo that is not going to be her forever home. Thank you for your reply but you could certainly be nicer with your comments.

Robin, that unfortunately is Patricia. Quartz is not fake plastic They are 90 percent or more ground guartz 7 percent plus give or take of resin, binders and pigment.

I would choose the kitchen cabinet color first.

Sometimes even if you get a sample, the color isn't the same as the slab you choose.

That is why you take a door with you to a stone yard to pick your slab.

When I googled it said it was marble-like. So, I'm assuming it is mostly white.

There are literally thousands of white paints to choose from.

Personally, I would say to google the top-selling white color for kitchen cabinets in Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams. You should know you house’s exposure. If north you might want yo avoid certain whites etc, Get yo understand underyones. Some creamy whites turn yellow in certain lighting.

You've been fed bull about the content like listening to a used car sales wog. 96% by weight. 63% by volume. 37% resin that scorches. Over a third is plastic.

Now that that's straightened, Take sample into Sherwin Williams and ask for a custom paint match. Ask for complimentary colors. Buy a small can and paint a poster board sample or whatever. Look at it in your space and light.

Eld6161- thank you for your kind reply. My daughter already purchased the quartz. For the cabinets, I have suggested BM pure white, SW snowbound, SW alabaster. I like BM white dove (it’s actually my house exterior color) but she thought it might be a bit too creamy. My daughter doesn’t care for beiges, tans, creamy colors (which I prefer).. she gravitates toward a cooler color palette. I just read that BM Decorators White might be a contender also so will look at that tomorrow. I had hoped someone would tell us what they used and show a picture of it. I know different lighting, different environment etc makes a difference but it would have been a good starting place for her to see the workable options.

Dan doesn’t matter what it is. Might not have been my choice, but my daughter bought it. Now just tying to make her custom built cabinets work well with it color wise.

Skip the named color limitation. BM or SW staff are super capable. They expect to do this. And they can scan a piece of counter. Then their computer prints the mixing formula in whatever grade of paint you want to use. Eggshell sheen for me. Get it mixed and paint a wall or poster board.
