L Clark, hard to say -- they aren't very fast, but might guess 50-80 yrs old? Some VA junipers develop a look like a mini-sequoia if conditions are good and the genetics favor that form.

It looks like it was topped relatively recently. Around here, they often suffer storm damage.

@mad: Yeah, especially the fastigiate ones around here, get bent and damaged or even uprooted around here from wet snow and/or ice.
