It's necessary to see more of your foyer/hallway in order to advise properly. Stand at the entry doorway and take the photo from there so we can see not only the ceiling but the floor area.

Looks like your home style might be coastal. The driftwood fixture is perfect for that style but we cannot determine if the fixture is sized correctly for the space with this limited info.

There are other fixtures from the same company in a similar style that are slightly smaller in diamer.

My personal opinion is that if you're paying in excess of $2k for a light fixture...........it should be perfect for the location. Your fixture might look better in a foyer that looks similar to this room.

I think it is too big for the space, something smaller in the same style may work.

Sorry but even the pic is ugly whay driftwood for a fixture at all? Painted driftwood will not help. IMO a poor choice of material for light fixture at all.

I find it difficult to embrace many styles of lighting, so don't mind me. Mine is a complicated relationship. But I'd never get past my first thought of how much it resembles the edging on a ladyfinger cake. I'd probably chuckle to myself every time I saw it IRL. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but probably not the desired reaction.

Way too big! For hallways, measure length and width of space and divide by 2.

The chandelier would look better over a dining table and you weren't looking up into a hole. The 25" one would look better and probably the correct size. Currey and Company shows how it is white washed. Your does look yellow....maybe the light bulbs are wrong color?

Your designer should know how to choose a chandelier size, BTW.
