I'd sample BM Mediterranian Olive with a BM Linen White, a softer white for the trims.

BM Moroccan Red for the door.

I actually like it the color it is.

I love the current color. I wouldn't paint unless you need to. I'd remove the shutters, they are the wrong size for the window and shutters don't fit on any of your other windows.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I am including updated photos. We will be working on landscaping as well. We realize that there is a lot of work to be done!

We think we want to keep it green, which I can't actually believe. Studio Green by F&B is lovely but when we got a sample, it looks like just a better version of the green we have. We would like a bit of a change. Another contender is BM Black Forest Green.

Yes - white windows. I know...the contrast does concern me and although I would love black windows - we won't be replacing all of them at once and the addition to the house has white.

What a charming home!

I really like ppf’s suggestion to either remove or paint out the bird’s foot trim above the front door. In its current bright white, it’s quite in-your-face.

Oh, and toss the shutters also.

Making both these changes will reduce the visual clutter of your home.

To keep it in the neighborhood, so to speak, with your brick front walk, I suggest B.M. Somerville Red for the front door. With the pink undertones, the combo is very earthy and yummy. Looking up from the curb, it all just flows.

Great house, BTW. Keep the Craftsman touches. If you are keeping the front door (not visible) and you would want a storm door, do a full view and paint it the same color as you do the front door.

Your house has intrinsic charm already.
The color tone is pleasing.
Any of the hues suggested by advisors will also suit.
Do remove the useless shudders.
You may also find that painting over the white vertical pieces in the gable will give a more solid settled look.

It would look nice painted in many colors - I've generated three options for you (I wanted to try a stained wood door with the green and blue - however, I forgot to change it to a pop of color in the last one). I removed the shutters (they don't belong on that window) - however, I left the trim in the gable above the door (I don't think you've commented on whether you want to keep it or not):

To me a dark charcoal gray makes it less woodsy and a bit more stately.

Add your green with the front door in a nice sage.

I think the shutters are nice...they ground and balance the gable detail. I like the white trim and it does not look cluttered.

I've been following along but haven't commented until now. IMO, you have a lovely home and I don't think you should be concerned with the white windows. They bring personality and are consistent with the style of your home. I get a lovely cottage-y feel when I look at your house and the windows suit that. Black windows would be out of place. I think your trim is lovely and wide and the shutters are unneeded. Added landscaping with some color will add contrast and even more life to the overall picture.

If you feel a storm door is necessary because of your climate, consider a full lite door that will show off your front door as much as possible. I would be even better if it was painted the same color as the front door.

Love Trace's dark charcoal with the light green door, I agree it makes the house quite stately, lovely!

Keep in mind that Ben Moore Black Forest Green is almost black. I have it on my fence and it's VERY dark.

I love it but you need to make sure that's what you want.
