I'm having the plumber come out to replace both my outdoor faucets. I have about a week or two before he can fit me in, so I'd like to take that time to find a different style of bibb (spigot, whatever you call it).

I would like something frost-proof and with a different shape than the "standard" spigots where the water outlet is at a sharp angle -- I find it difficult to thread the hose or quick connectors onto these. This is similar style to what I have now and I don't like it:

Do you have any recs for a different style that is more user-friendly not only to get the hose onto but for arthritic hands? I do see there are different styles like levers, but I've never had anything other than the above style so don't know what if there is anything better.
