You may want to post this picture on your thread from yesterday.

didn't change much, I would still go with a modern look with the windows in the door and you could keep the front door style you already have, just lighten up the trim and door color from what you currently have.

Not a dark garage door, it will just look like a black hole.

Those are nice looking doors (posted on your other thread), but they are wrong for your home. They work on a modern/contemporary house, not one more traditional like yours.

Consider a simple door with rectangular windows across the top, painted to match the house.

I'd also think about painting the trim. Shown below is not the right color, just something to give you a visual.

And for your next roof -- go darker. The roof above the front door looks good, but the roof above looks too light in the sun.
