Nice insurance co touch

yesterday

We had storm damage on our property and cars on the 4th of July. The company was prompt, efficient and easy to work with which was in itself an unexpected surprise. However, the nicest touch was that this weekend I recieved a lovely ”watercolor” of our house. It is on proper water color paper with our address and an artist signature( i cropped this out for privacy issues). Even if it is an AI rendering it was a great customer service marketing strategy.

How wonderful! Such a beautiful home.

Where will you put your lovely new art?

That is a lovely painting. And an extra bonus that your insurance company was prompt and efficient. So far I've avoided any claims but just thinking about it makes me anxious.

@roarah, was it from the insurance company or from your agent? Either way, it is a super nice gesture!

Bbstx that is a good question. Our agent and the adjuster were both wonderful to work with so I am guessing it was one of them responsible for this nice surprise.

    That is so nice!

Our realtor gave us a nice watercolor of our last house, even though she was involved only in the purchase of our new home. The watercolor looked better than the house!

I've heard of realtors doing an image of a home. My dad's last realtor had a stretched canvas done from a photo of his license plate wall in the garage -- every license plate he's had, incluging the first car each of the kids drove and motorcycles. He was going into an independent living apartment and wouldn't have a place for them, so she preserved the image for him.

We have been in this house 24 years now and had one claim. Our roof -- we got half the payment in our bank account while the adjuster was still standing in our front yard and he told us to spend it all. I was shocked, but told him my dad was an independent agent he talked the same values my dad had and I really appreciated that. Needless to say, we're super loyal clients now even without a watercolor (Traveler's).

Roarah, your home has the same elevation as my grandmother's house -- brings back fond memories. The watercolor is charming, but only a great touch when it comes on top of great service. I'm glad you got both.
