Project Linus #24 is complete!

last month

A smaller baby blanket, made to use up donated yarn.

I wanted a bigger border, but was running out of the other yarn as well, so ended up with a simple picot edging of 2sc, sc, ch2, sl st in same sc.

Body is "very easy and unusual pattern" by Massive Crochet. 4 row repeat which goes very quickly and yields a nice pattern.

Massive crochet has lots of wonderful and interesting patterns...some are free, some are paid.

I love the colors!

Those are the shades my bedroom was painted when I was a teenager. I'm not that brave anymore. Good color combo, though

Thank you all!

rob, That's part of the fun is that I can be "brave" with the colors since it's just a blanket, not a room I have to live in. But I was thinking of a young girl when I was using those colors...maybe a fan of one of those Disney characters in lilac and lavender....

I did quite a bit of crocheting back in the day. My mom and daughter do beautiful work. What I know--it's not that easy!! Sure wielding that hook is easy enough, the specific knots/stitches are not rocket science but it's getting all the stitches to be the same size that's a skill!!! Great job Annie
