Outdoor kitchen

About $300 when all is said and done but what a meal night after night.

DH doesn’t need much. High heat and sauces to mix and a wok that won’t quit . He has the touch.

Don’t mind the sock feet! Dressed for success. He says his name is KaBob

High heat.. 100,000 btu’s

Chicken

Bok choy and peppers and home pickeled gingerroot

Altogether

Peanuts to garnish

He is the best. ❤️

Nice! Not so much fun when you have to do it for 6 weeks while the kitchen is being re-done, though!

@Nancy Todd haha! He has been doing this for 55 years! About 1/2 our dinners are wok dinners. But outside is only since 2016. That’s why I have had very high quality cooking setups indoors since 2007. We had 1400 cfm hood in AL house kitchen and we have 1200 cfm here but he is banned from indoor wok use here because I am tired of the cleaning of the hood baffles. 😳🤣

@carolb_w_fl_coastal_9/10 he’s never had an accident since he has had this setup in 2016. . I guess this will cause one now that I have said that ! Yikes!!

@lat62 - This was made and sold on Ebay by a graduate student from China who was in the US. I found it while searching for someway to cook outside in 2016. He hasn’t had anything listed for years now. The closest to this is a Cajun Cooker type situation.

I Love the minimalism. Just what's needed.

That said, even with his decades of success, I keep wanting to add a fire extinguisher...

YUM! You've got a live-in chef, Carolyn! Very authentic! and...YOU don't have to clean up the mess....even better. ❤️‍🔥I love seeing a happy couple...and YOU are just that!

@plllog there isn’t any fire to put out. The food in the wok can’t catch fire and the propane tank has it’s own safeguards.

There is the dial that controls the size of the flame but if something somehow catastophic were to befall the Propane Apparatus it would be such that nothing would be capable of dealing with it since we are talking seconds.

@NiCOZ5 thank you we are definitely a team. He is great at dishes and also vacuums and loves to dust. He even does bathrooms! c

I can't say Elery loves to dust but he does do dishes, cleans up my kitchen messes and even does bathrooms. He leaves most of the cooking to me, although he makes the coffee every morning so it's ready when I get up.

I have to work on my stir frying skills. Mine are always just "meh", and never good enough to justify the time it takes to chop everything. They definitely never look like that!

That’s very cool! Is he for hire???

My DH made a tri-pod like that just to elevate our little Weber Smokey Joe.👍🏻
