I assume you’re asking about the garage DOOR color and not the garage itself?

You haven’t given us a very good view of the garage. It’s just barely in this picture.

Is your front door black?

My front door is black and that is the entire garage.

if you paint the garage door black, it will look like a black hole and like it's always open.

Paint it the same color as the house trim. If you paint the front door the same as trim color or another complimentary color, it will look more inviting.

Paint the porch ceiling the light color of your stucco to lighten/brighten up the front porch.

If you know the Brand® and color name of your trim color, we may be able to offer a great front door color.

I like the off white with the trim. I can say the brick color is not great and I would paint it the same off white as the stucco above. That includes the brick of the garage.

For garage door go with the color of the trim.

The front door looks original. Did you paint over the wood? If so, stripping and staining it a wood tone would add to the original style of the house.

I said paint the brick, but lately I have been reading about staining and not painting because brick is so porous. Staining would be easier, I would think.

Staining brick is generally better than painting because it penetrates the brick, allowing it to breathe and preventing issues like peeling and chipping. In contrast, paint creates a layer on top that can trap moisture and deteriorate more quickly.

See OP’s other post - https://www.houzz.com/discussions/6587949/tudor-exterior-update

I feel the garage is not really attractive, therefore I would paint it blackish so the garage does not stand out.

I like the brick.

I would paint the trim above the garage door to match the house's trim and leave the garage door the color of the light-colored siding.

Update: Thanks so much everyone! Progress update. Before: Blue door, Current: Black. The temps are changing quickly here (I’m close to Toronto). So may not get to rest of painting but happy with progress!

Looks really nice - love the color you chose!

Looks great! Love the color of the garage door, not too dark or too light, just right.

Thanks so much doods! The garage door is SW Black Fox

Thanks so much La_la Girl!!

I like the Black Fox paint on the garage door. More subtle than black-black. Your house is totally adorable.

Would you consider replacing the garage door with a wood carriage door? IMHO that would compliment the Tudor revival style of your home.
