Maggie's room

Take a look at my daughter's soon to be bedroom & bath that will go in. Need ideas for the space. It's titled Maggie's room in my ideabook. I'm NEW to this so if you can't see my ideabook let me know.

Is there a way to link an ideabook? I had comments on all the pics there. Otherwise I will add here.

First photo: looking into room from entrance. On this wall there are 2 windows right next to each other. Can't add 5 pics though.
Second: Closet on front of house, to left of entrance. Will be keeping this closet.
Third: wall that entrance is on to right. On other side of wall is stairwell. Will be adding a bath here. Only a stool, sink & shower. Entrance to bath will be in hall.
Fourth: back of house. Closet is being removed to add space since we are taking some for bath.

The only thing that cought my attention is the entrance to the bath from the hall. A young girl needs her privacy and if you can make the entrance to the bathroom from the inside of her room only it would be better.

The bath will be used by both kids. Her brothers bedroom is across the hall from hers. So I thought it best to place the bath entrance in the hall.

What do people think about built in storage on the back wall? Loft bed? Window seating? Flooring...right one it has glued down tiles with hardwood under. I think the hard wood floors are pine. It would take a LOT of work to remove the glue under the tiles. Unless some one can tell us an easy way. What kind of window coverings? She is only 8 BUT this must take her well into teen years or beyond. What else haven't I thought of?

Keep the window covering simple and not very childish. I would get a long panel ( a remanence), a thin rod, and would roll the fabric over the rod and let it hang on the floor on both ends.

can you hand draw the shape of the room, with dimensions and widow/door locations? it really difficult to figure out what is going on from those photos.
