Yes, I did. It's important to use either flat or eggshell on the walls, and high gloss latex or oil-based (preferred) on the trim. That way, it is the most elegant way to highlight the wood, and coordinate with the walls. The shiny paint is more durable, and shows off smooth wood better. Flat paint is great on drywall which is essentially a paper substrate.
