Why do try put a thermostat right in middle of wall. Hate that. Make a grouping of pictures on this wall it can be anything. Start 4 ft from floor two rows about 6-7 ft long 2" between pics. I would go the grays popular now. Would work really well in your style home. Get sample from Sherwin Williams and Benjimin Moore. Try on yr walls. They have some beautiful grays. Keep trim white. Frames for your grouping use black.

I would put a runner on stairs. I like your rug in hall.

Travisinteriors- couldn't agree more with the thermostat! I have been checking out the new grays but concerned it may not work with the living and dining room furniture as noted in pics included in discussion. Thanks for the input.

Grey will work with the burgundy/pinkish colour of your furniture. You could go for greige colours. Cross between grey and beige. From what I can see on screen there are a couple of nice shades in your rug in the foreground of the living room pic. Perhaps you can find one of the least used colours in that rug and match that to a paint colour for your room. It's a good trick to tie the room together so to speak.
