roofing material?

Hi, what is the roofing material you are using? if it's metal, is it really noisy in the rain? how do you stop it from reflecting up into the sky with the sun? thank you.

    Corrugated metal deck. Yes the rain does make noise. It was thought better to reflect up than to focus directly down onto the ground.

    Here in the tropics we use a white roof mastic coating, that help already a lot.
