Hi all. We're in the planning stages of a new home construction project. I'm relatively handy, I included a shot of me turning a screened porch into a four season room including vaulting the existing rafters (took some wife convincing to pull that one off).

Anyway, I'm looking for people's thoughts on the best ways to save while building a new home. Our contractor is very open to us putting in sweat equity, I just need to decide what I should do myself.
