    The table base is an old architect's drafting table. Butcher block is from Vermont Butcher Block.

    The woodblock on the drafting table is a wonderful design. Would like to know how the butcher block table was constructed. For example, was it an end or edge grain design. Also, did you use maple, walnut, cherry, or a mix? Finally, how thick was the table top - 2 or 3 inches.?
