Penny Flooring?

Many of you have seen my discussion on this kitchen redo I did for $350. Currently it has vinyl flooring in cream and blue. Given my copper theme.... I'm considering a penny floor. Any inputs on this? Have any of you seen this done well or poorly * in person *? And what is it like to walk on or to clean? Thank you!!!
