Hi Jackie, this pair came from Shanghai. They are reproduction Ming style pedestals. I think any dealer who sells reproduction furniture from China may have a version of them. If you have no luck, feel free to call my office and we will help you. 718-935-0425.

Can you tell me about this bed? Love it. Is it a platform or boxspring frame?

I designed the bed and asked my favorite millwork shop, American Woods and Veneers Works, to make it. It is walnut with a separate headboard upholstered in suede. In between the side rails is a mini boxspring (so it does not show) which is upholstered in the same ticking as the mattress. Both are custom made from Beckley.

I suspected as much - it's beautiful! I've already asked my favorite cabinetmaker if he could make a similar one, but he can't be competitive. I think I'll need to find a local millworks to do it (SF Bay Area)
