Hi, I own the Ground floor flat in a Victorian terrace house in London. At the moment the front door and windows are a very tired dark wood stain and they need to be brought up to date.

The problem is that my neighbour who owns upstairs and I can't agree on the colour. We both like Grey and white but we'd divide the space up differently.

Option 1 paint the porch grey and the windows and apex of the roof white.

Option 2 paint the porch grey, then panel at the top of the porch white, the windows white and the apex of the rood grey.

Which do you think is better?
