Do you have a link to the colors available in the vinyl siding brand you chose?

Certainteed allows you to upload a photo of your house and try out different styles and colors of siding on it (for a small fee). Given the reddish brown roof and gray stone, I'd try a red or dark brown.

We tried tHat and the colors show so vaguely it's hard to determine what tHe house would really look like when the siding is replaced.

I know what you mean, as I've tried it as well, and colors on a computer screen are not the same as in person, but it's a starting point. It helped me reject a few colors at least.

I've also tried putting actual siding samples against the house, and the bright sun changes how the colors look. The siding looks different and the dark brown much lighter in person than in the pictures in the brochures. I think the brochure photos are probably lightened or darkened to enhance the overall picture and cannot be trusted.

I hope to hire a color consultant when we are ready, because it's such an expensive project and really affects curb appeal. I actually found a house nearby with siding color I love, but I'm still trying get the nerve to knock on their door and ask what it is! I bet you can get some good ideas here on houzz!
