My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The island is 9' x 3'6" and the distance between the sink and range is approximately 18"

    Hey Linda, I see that the island range doesn't have a ventilation hood. Would you recommend this for a pro style range?

    This is a Viking downdraft cooktop so it is made to work without a hood. I would recommend speaking with an appliance specialist to determine what the best options would be.

    How is the single post leg attached to island top or is it attached to floor? I have one being installed next week, but cabs were not fabbed for apron underneath granite.
