Need help with our new kitchen

I am refacing the kitchen to white cabinets. I am thinking of crystal spring granite and stainless steel appliances. See attached pictures of granite. What do you think? Too busy?

What color floor and backsplash should I do with the crystal granite or should I go with a lighter granite countertop with no pattern or something more colorful like Venetian gold granite? Any suggestions for the wall color?

Beautiful granite! Wall color should be a beige. Sherwin Williams has this color called Kilim Beige that would be great on the walls and for the floor the tile should be a medium dark tone gray. Backsplash could be stone or glass.

I like the floor as is...white or gray glass subway tile...BM Elmira White paint.

Wow, I really like the granite, and it will be perfect with stainless steel. Don't introduce warm tones in the other finishes. Use pale grey on the walls, and grey floor.

your choices are very nice :) have you looked at river white granite yet? also a pretty choice but a little more subtle, a bit like limestone

Nice choices. Keep the backsplash solid and simple. If you plan to change the floor, a darker wood, like walnut would be very nice with your new white cabinet color.

Love the granite with your cupboard door chosen. You could have your current floors sanded and stained either a warmer medium taupe brown pulled out of the Mica color in the granite, or a cooler shade of grey as suggested. Your kitchen will look great when done. Good luck.

The granite is awsome- a matte white either 2x6 or 2x8 tile installed in a subway pattern would be very simple and elegant- sanding your floors down and using a semi transparent gray wash over them would look very pretty.

dworden5 - yup the cabinets will come with crown moulding and 2 glass windows with minions in the corners. The herringbone floor goes all the way into foyer, family room and powder room. I should probably attach a picture. If I do grey will it look odd with a staircase that is maplish color?

Love white cabinets. We are building a new home and are going with white cabinets and dark granite tops. I am thinking of white appliances to blend in not stand out. There are a lot of great ideas on line.
