My home has 2 front doors- 1. connects the garage to the house and is closest to the driveway. This is a less "grand entrance" but is the one everyone uses. In fact, 90% of people probably dot't realize there is another door. 2. Has a tall entrance and is the formal "front door" but like I said, nobody sees is or uses it. I am on the hunt for a new door for number 1. The main problem I have with the current door is that has no glass therefor letting no light into our "mud room". I would like something with dark stained wood and sidelights to let in as much light as possible. My question is, does that sound like too much for a door that is not technically the "front door?" Any style suggestions for my style of home?
