I'm confused. Is the light wood in the mix? The small samples...is that for the top?

Hi Darzy. Photo 3 with the light wood is for ensuite. The top i have chosen for that is a gloss finish which i dont want in other bathroom so need to chose diff top and doors

I think i have already gone off the dark door. LOL

Hi Heather, when you say light and dark wood are you talking about the laminate samples that have the timber grain look, and not the surface that the samples are placed on? I think therein lies the confusion.

Sorry! The surface that the samples are on is the floor tile. The small laminate samples are what I need opinions on. I am happy with the ensuite selection, (photo 3) but as I said I don't want to put the same vanity tops and cupboard doors in the other bathroom. So, just to clarify the dark "wood" look sample in photos 1 and 2 is for the doors and either one of the other two for the top. I feel that the motley greige one is too patterned to go with the dark for the door, there fore will "busy" (?)

I would not put the white top with the espresso cabinet. I prefer the lighter colour you have chosen for the ensuite cabinet.

Yes, I do favour the lighter colour one, just worried it is too many patterns together. I want to get this sorted, so I can move on to another headache! I thought this was supposed to be fun - it is so stressful.

I know what you mean Heather. In 2012/2013 we have built a house and renovated and extended our home! I think we were suffering from some kind of temporary insanity :-P We still need to finish painting. It was exciting, but very exhausting, mentally and physically.
I know what you mean about the Pierre laminate being busy with the espresso, as they are both 'patterned'. I think the top you have chosen for the ensuite would look good with the espresso cabinet, if you want to go that way.

I'm looking at so many things on here , I personally would do this , for the floor the wood grain tile,the then the leaf tile and the smaller beige tile .,the basin & toilet in white .

Keep it plain and simple. The vine leaf pattern is going to be dated shortly (if not already).
Stay with white and you'll find decorating the rest of the baths much easier when choosing towels, shower curtains(?) rugs or pictures and accents.
