Need help for my bedroom!

Hi all,
I am having a lot of trouble to design my bedroom. We moved in several months ago and still have not figured out our bedroom. We bought a wardrobe which is quite big but I am not satisfied with it. It looks a bit out of space. Current color might be too dark but I also find it too big as a block like this. I attach some picture of the current bedroom. We are still planning to buy a desk, and night tables. Can anyone help me thinking rethinking of the design. Also what would you do with the big wardrobe? I am considering repainting the wardrobe in lighter brown and white.
How would you guys do something out of this bedroom?
Help! All suggestions welcome.
Eric

Before doing something to the wardrobe, get some other elements in the room. Right now it's dominating because little in there. Your headboard is a little short, bur can be rectified with something over it. Carpet is too small...larger will help balance some of the wardrobe.

    And can you paint?

You need paint. You need tailored bedding that looks inviting. Add some Euro-shams. add rugs. Keep the wardrobes and chairs, I like them. Love the bones of this room, actually. You can make an awesome batchelor pad regardless of your preferences. Since it appears you are in the city, you may want some metallic shades on those windows...

PS: Don't paint the wardrobes, paint the walls, or add some big art.

Do not paint wardrobe. It's very nice. Add big night stands chest type next to bed. Furn should cover most of that wall. Add very tall big lamps in silver with white drum shades. Night stands should match wardrobe brush nickel hardware also. New bedding. A nice de vet in white with chocolate border. Ck Macys Hotel collection. Add extra bed pillows and get solid dark brown shams. Prop up on headboard. Use white sheets high thread count over 600. Fold duvet down 1/4 of the way. Put silver or glass frames on end stands. Remove all clutter. Chairs are good add white pillows to back. With a small table between them.

Remove white dresser. Why do you need it? Instead add a 6 ft floor mirror with wide dark frame just lean on that wall. Ikea carries. Not expensive. Over bed add a 36x36 art hang 6-7" above top of headboard. Dark frame contemporary design bold colors.

Area rug. Get a graphic design in chocolate with some color, teal. Do not put under bed. Instead just run at foot of bed between bed and wardrobe. 5x7 should work. Right next to bed on sides by night stand add a white, sheep skin rug for comfort. Or a fuzzy white one. Ikea.

On windows add brown woven bamboo shades.Home a Depot sells. With Panels in chocolate on ends floor to ceiling. Is that a bathroom? If so maybe white dresser could go there? Do chocolate towels in there. TJMax good for accessories. Is that a clothes valet on wall. I would keep clothes in closet instead. Keep room uncluttered. It's a big nice room. Just needs some attention.

If you have to have a desk here put in window. Remove chairs. On night stands very important you get 2, 24-30" long. Center bed on wall. Don't stress on wardrobes. They are very nice. Love the color very modern. Get a glass top with dark wood legs. aPier one has nice one. A new chandelier. Add some crystals to one.

Didn't know it was a bachelor pad. No crystals in light. But a drum style in cream would be better than what you have, in ceiling. Easy to install.

I meant a glass top desk. For window.

Hi all. Thank you for the quick feedback!
Important addition, this is not a bachelor pad :-)
I got that I need to add some stuff in there :-)
No bathroom it is the corridor.
Any idea on the big chest night stands you are talking about? I am not sure I really see.
The initial idea was to go with chocolate, brown beige. Might be the confusion with the bachelor pad.
For the carpet do you mean slide the current one more towards the wardrobe or get a bigger one?
