This was the first bathroom remodel that I did, did about half of it myself and had a contractor help me with some of the things I wasn't comfortable with. Doing a lot of the stuff myself saved me a lot of money and got us a much better bathroom. We bought the entire shower system for $2,000 shipped. I restained the vanity myself, did all the floor tile + heat myself. I also did all the design work myself. This is a very small bathroom. The heater was replaced with a heated floor. We also enlarged the shower a little, made the walk in closest smaller, yet more organized (feels bigger). To save more room in this small bathroom we added a custom bi-fold door w/ frosted glass, that we ended up painting white.
