My wife and I are looking to remodel the exterior of our 1960's ranch house that is located in the mid west. We are looking to provide a more modern design element to the existing house but not so much that it completely stands out from other homes in the neighborhood. Attached is the revised exterior elevations and would welcome any suggestions. Plan is to utilize ipe on the ends of the house (garage and MB) and incorporate stone in the middle. Although not shown the ipe will wrap around to about 1/4 down and possibly ipe fence. We will also be replacing all windows, most likely commercial extruded aluminum casement windows by Western Window. Any thoughts, suggestions or likes/dislikes are welcomed.
