My bungalow bathroom

Most of my place was an unmolested 1916 Craftsman Bungalow...except the bathroom. At some point, someone had done a 70's or maybe 80's renovation...badly. I knew it wasn't going to be long until I took care of this. I kept the original tub & toilet...the rest was tossed or sold.

The cheap Sears pressboard vanity had to go. Another gut job was the flooring. The ungly vinyl had to go as well. I also put insulation into the outside wall. I'm almost done restoring the sash. It's getting there!

I did a lot of the work myself & my neighbor does tile jobs on the side....I really like the way this turned out!

Ah! My sink is almost exactly like the one you put in, but I need to replace the faucet and knobs. Where did you find that style?

I found the sink on Craigslist for $65! Complete with the fixtures & the legs & towel bars. Even all the lighting, towel bars & toilet paper roll were found on Ebay & CL. I did the entire job for under 5k. 3 walls were nearly ripped out. I left a small section at the top to affix the new drywall to.

I searched for months for my floor. I knew I wanted black but all the local stores had was large squares of marble or granite. Way too modern for what I wanted.

I'm still on a search for tub fixtures. I have new Moen, but the handles are plastic & I absolutely hate them. I'm sure I can find something to screw onto the new guts.

Crazy...here's mine on Ebay witout the legs for $365 to start.
