Totally agree with painting the paneled wall lighter then the other walls....

A big mirror over the fireplace unless you are putting a TV in that room, then the Tv would need to go over the fireplace.

A large painting or the mirror behind the dining room table.

Light brown Grass clothe window shades with light beige curtains on the side.

A nice light color area rug in front of the fireplace....5 x 7 or 8 x10 ( if it's not too big) Possibly an oriental pattern in shades of beiges.

I also agree that you might not be able to use all of your leather pieces.... try moving the couch in front of the fireplace with space behind the couch.....is there room for the chair to the side? Or possibly the loveseat.......I can't tell from the photo, but it does look like you are going to have to relocate one of those pieces out of the living room.

You might also purchase two side table for lamps or buy two floor lamps.......

I would suggest you paint all the walls white. However, if you like the wood paneled wall, keep it as it is. If you do not have crown molding, I would suggest you add this in white to accentuate the wall-ceiling junctures of every room. To brighten everything, you might paint the dining chairs white and leave the table dark for contrast. I would suggest you get an area rug in an over-all vine pattern in soft shades of green or light blue and then get throw pillows and curtains in the same shades of green and/or blue. Throws or quilts that incorporate the same colors will look great on the dark leather furniture.

I like your wall color. You need light color rug with pattern. Blue, green,yellow or orange in it.

The living room furniture is too big and too many pieces. Add color and interest with art work, a mirror over the fireplace, couple of area rugs, table lamps, and a new chandelier.
