Well, I never tried a stencil before and I think that wallpaper would look more sophisticated but if not I would have to consider the option of a stencil. I will check the site. Thank you!

Thank you for your recommendation. I bought the stencil and I will do the wall in red damask on white. :)

Oh great! Take your time and you will be amazed at the quality of the results. Allow your base paint to completely dry and wipe your stencil down about every 4 or 5 passes. The use of a spray adhesive and a foam roller with very little paint on it helps keep the lines crisp. Lastly, I'd suggest a pearlescent white to better mimic the look of wallpaper. Have fun and please post the results :)

You could get a stencil and paint it on. This is a framed piece but could easily be done directly on the wall.

How bout you cover (upholster) a large piece of mdf board with red damsask fabric and frame it like a extra large picture frame?

BM Studio Finish Pearlescent White but I would work with your BM associate to coordinate the base color with your red paint so the effect is subtle and sophisticated.
