Yes, our sliding doors are aluminum exterior and wood interior. This door design is built with aluminum profiles and the wood you see here in this photo clads it on the interior. Because the wood is not structural, practically any type of wood can be chosen to match furnishings and finishes on the inside of your home. The door panels can be pocketed into the wall, either side or both sides. We also build doors whose panels slide along the interior or exterior wall without a pocket. One way folks have done this is to have the panel slide to the inside or outside of a large fixed window. There are some examples on our website. It's a barn door type look.
