Why is that tv so high?

Sorry, but I can't imagine anyone really looking at that at all. Plus, right above the stove? Grease & electronics are a bad bad mix.

Thank you for your question - everyone has a personal preference of placements and that was where the owner wanted the TV. He sits at the island which is HUGE and the placement of the TV there was for his viewing comfort. While I agree with all your points, I know when to agree with "what the client wants". Thanks again!
