They are brushed nickel. The photograph makes them look shinier than they appear in person.

I have the same cabinets and am updating some, I also removed old blue and mauve wallpaper from the 80's and painted the walls SW rice paddy. getting new stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors,etc. should the floors be darker then the cabinets. any suggestions are appreciated

I would darken the floors a bit to a natural walnut color, which is a lovely medium tone that is a little less orange than the natural oak, which helps neutralize the room a bit. These homeowners didn't want to change their floors, so I chose to cool down the orangey tones with whites and greenish grays.

Thanks for your help on the floor color and about the hinges, I was thinking of replacing them, but can see that they would really stand out. I just thought they had to match
